We were just kids then… living for the moment. I remember when we thought we had so much to offer. We thought we were actually the good kids.
We’d walk through junk yards, hoping to find a lost wallet. Checking under dirty, worn leather seats, finding spare change. The result was usually the same. And then we would go and hide in the woods.
A fort, built of twigs, fishing line used as trap line, we thought no one would ever find us. But no one could.
…the time the Chinese Buffet was closed because it was only open until 4. That is what happens. Life.
The sun was red in motion, warm for the time of your youth.
